Ladies, it’s almost fall. My favorite season, and before the cool weather sets in, I wanted to drop one more summer Styling Basic Pieces post. This one focuses on a midi slip skirt. I grabbed this skirt awhile back from Zara. Midi skirts can be a little tricky for shorter women like myself. Ideally, it should fall to the middle, or lower half of your calf. If ever you find one you love, but it falls too long, most tailors will hem it at a reasonable price!
Midi skirts are a perfect transition piece, as they can be wore with sneakers, heels, flats, or boots. As always, I’m styling this gorgeous skirt, three ways. Let’s get into these looks!
Original skirt is sold out, but you can shop similar options here, here, and here.

SPORTY: I love mixing garments. This Nike graphic tee (shop similar option here), is a fun way to style this look. Add your favorite sneakers (shop mine here), and the look is complete.

CASUAL: I’m always here for monochromatic vibes. A skirt like this doesn’t need much. Style with a cami (similar option here), of your choice. I chose to do a similar texture to keep the look elevated. Belt (shop here) this look to accentuate your waist. Pair with neutral sandals (shop here), and you’re ready for errands, brunch, or a casual date night out.

DRESSY: First of all, this satin blouse from Zara is IT! I thought the color would be a nice compliment with this skirt (shop cute option here). Cuff the sleeve, or leave as is. Knot it at the waist to keep the blouse from appearing to oversized, and add translucent (I own these and LOVE them), nude (shop option here) or even white strappy heels (cute option here), and you’re ready for anything!!
As someone who adores earthy tones, your olive green utility skirt is calling my name.
It’s utilitarian elegant at its finest – such a trendy choice! Skirts for women knee length
